At Ravensworth, mission investment means both financial support and hands-on involvement. We are engaged in activities to advance the reign of God in our local area, throughout the United States, and around the world.

In Fairfax County, we work with 26 other churches to provide monetary and volunteer support to Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA) and Rebuilding Together , and we volunteer regularly with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia .

Nationally, we support the mission endeavors of the Alliance of Baptists and the American Baptist Churches in the USA (ABC-USA) , and send groups of volunteers across the country to work on projects with Habitat for Humanity . In 2006 and 2007, Ravensworth sent mission groups to Biloxi, Mississippi, to help in the rebuilding efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Other work projects have taken us to North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.

On the international scene, we support mission endeavors in Cuba, Israel/Palestine, Sudan, Malawi, and elsewhere. We also participate every October in the CROP Walk, a ten-kilometer walk organized by Church World Service to raise money to alleviate hunger around the world.
