In an effort to create the safest possible environment for children and youth, Ravensworth Baptist Church has put into effect a policy for the prevention of child abuse.

In 1999, we codified procedures that reflect our longstanding concern for the welfare of youth and children. These procedures include the following provisions:

• All paid and volunteer workers are screened
• Both paid workers and volunteer teachers are trained
• Environmental safeguards have been put into place
